Black Gold

I took a Barista course at community college about 3 weekends ago and our instructor suggested we watch this movie. Originating from Ethiopia, coffee is the 2nd most traded commodity in the world yet the disparities between what those who grow and export them and the Western suppliers earn is remarkably unfair and criminal in comparison.

As westerners revel in designer lattes and cappuccinos, impoverished Ethiopian coffee growers suffer the bitter taste of injustice. In this eye-opening expose of the multi-billion dollar industry, Black Gold traces one man's fight for a fair price.
