When it comes to promoting their luggage, luxury brand Louis Vuitton has looked beyond the usual suspects of starlets and young models to be the face of their new fall/winter ad campaign. Instead they've chosen former Soviet Union president, Mikhail Gorbachev and for the female counterpart cast in these more upscale ads, Louis Vuitton has chosen 64 year old French actress, Catherine Deneuve. The ads were shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Pretty neat, I say. But I like the female one better, especially the setting where you have the steam/'smuk' effect in the background with the train and all that. I can already hear the soundtrack to this scene...
